Q: How long will a fence last?
A: Cedar lasts approximately 15 to 20 years, Spruce 10 years. They will last much longer with steel posts added.
Q: If I seal the fence, how much longer will the fence last?
A: I don't think anyone honestly knows. As sealers get better each year the durability increases. The best answer is probably 5 years or more.
Q: If I seal the fence will the color hold?
A: The sealed colors are holding for about 3 years on Spruce and about 5 years on Cedar. They will slowly turn gray over the years due to the ultra-violet action of the sun (darn sun!).Remember, its not just the stain your adding,it's also a seal which will help keep your fence from rotting for many additional years. Now a vinyl fence never changes color as you know.
Q: How do I know if I am selecting the right company to build my fence?
A: References, references, references. We will supply you with a few hundred to check out. Usually, very close to your house or business.
Q: I don't have much cash now, can I charge it?
A: Yep. All major credit cards are accepted.
Q: How soon can you start?
A: It depends on the business ahead of you. When you finally commit, we will give you a pretty definite date, and we usually hit our date. You're happy, we're happy.
Q: How long will the job take?
A: Unless it's the "KING RANCH", usually 2 to 3 days start to finish.
Q: Any warranty?
A: Yes, until the check clears (just joking). Transferable Workmanship Warranty for two full years.
Q: Are you absolutely, positively, the best fence company in all of Texas and the rest of the world?
A: Modestly speaking, as is our custom, yep!
